Mini-Synopsis: A homeless street performer volunteers for a research project, but forcefully changes her mind after experiencing a unexpected string of tragedies. While trying to hitchhike to Los Angeles, a macabre gang of darkly dressed, pale menaces attacks her. She then finds herself trapped in a nightmare world where nothing is, as it seems. She tries to escape again and again only to be stopped. Thinking she will be trapped forever the film climaxes in a surprise ending, which she does not suspect.
