Anthony Duva
|
Anthony Duva is an award-winning filmmaker and president of the
BI-coastal production company; DuvaFilms. He has written, directed,
produced and acted in four feature films; Gabriella and Lost Soul, also
featuring Bob Dolan (voice of Dilbert), Schizophrenic and his latest
feature Creature From the Green Mist. Most recently, Mr. Duva has received international acclaim when Lost Soul and Gabriella won awards for best Feature Open Genre at the Thunderbird International Film Festival in 2002 and an award for Best Make-up at the Thunderbird International Film Festival in 2003 respectively. A 1994 Graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Mr. Duva also holds a BSBA in finance as well as an MBA, and he attended Boston University Film School. Upon graduation from American Academy of Dramatic Arts, he formed the Proscenium Theater Company producing three equity waver plays in North Hollywood, California. Mr. Duva has appeared in numerous theatrical productions, has written four-full length plays, appeared in the feature film, Nixon, and had a guest appearance on the CBS sitcom, Love and War. |
Rita Cook

A seasoned writer and award-winning producer with over a decade of diversified
experience, Ms. Cook was the Associate Producer on the Horror/Action feature
film Route 666 with Trimark Pictures. She is also the co-producer on three
of DuvaFilms releases; Gabriella, Lost Soul (Thunderbird International Film
Festival winner) and Schizophrenic. She was the producer on the feature-length
film Marty & Virginia for Cicero Productions and most recently worked in the
pre-production stage of the film The Assassination, scheduled to star Ed Harris.
As a Production Manager, Cook worked on Norm Crosby's Celebrity Golf Challenge
with Seymour Cassel, Joe Montegna and Norm Crosby and The Biz starring Seymour
Cassel and Jeff Conaway. In 1999 Cook was a producer on the film Naomi's Web and Production Manager on the television pilot "Two American Idiots." In addition, Cook has worked on several television pilots including "All About the Money" and produced a short film, The Limited, which as won various festival awards. She has written for numerous companies, produced entertainment projects and spearheaded publicity campaigns. Since moving to Los Angeles Cook has worked with action-adventure screenwriter, Neill Hicks, worked a short stint in development and took a month to work with an executive producer/director on a cable special. Before moving to Los Angeles she did an internship in Chicago with the co-head writer of "The Young and the Restless." Her editorial expertise can be found in Insider Magazine, where she is the Editorial Director, Script Magazine, where she writes a column and also in Screentalk magazine. Ms. Cook is President of Cinewomen, another LA based organization, and is President Emeritus of Women in Film and Television/Chicago. For four years in Chicago, Ms. Cook was on the board of directors of the nationally known organization, Women in Film and Television and she served as President for two years. She facilitated the production of the group's annual gala Achievement Award and worked on the Los Angeles chapter's renowned Crystal Awards in May of 1998. Ms. Cook is also well known in the city of Chicago for her development of the mentor program for Women in Film and Television/Chicago. She is also Chairman of the review committee for the Film Advisory Board in Los Angeles. |
